Glutathione Infusions
Glutathione infusion is an effective intravenous procedure that saturates the body with a powerful antioxidant – glutathione. Glutathione is a tripeptide made up of three amino acids (glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine) that the body uses to protect cells from oxidative stress.
Glutathione helps neutralise free radicals, supports the liver in removing toxins and strengthens the immune system. Administered intravenously, the antioxidant reaches the bloodstream in full, ensuring fast and effective action.
Who the procedure is for
The procedure suits those who want to support the body's detoxification, improve skin tone and radiance, strengthen immunity or regain energy after a period of illness or fatigue.
How the procedure works and how long it takes
A single glutathione infusion takes about 1–2 hours and is carried out in clinical conditions. The best results are usually achieved as a course of procedures, determined individually by the doctor.
Contraindications
The procedure is not recommended during pregnancy, or in case of bronchial asthma, low zinc levels or an allergy to glutathione. A doctor's consultation and appropriate blood tests are required before the procedure.
